About the Role
The CAD Engr roles consist of making hardware drawings from specifications and test schematics. Designing and manufacturing test jigs, test boards and tools then moving to mass production line.
The Engineer will be involved with the entire NPI (new product introduction) process that starts from H/W design all the way to production release. It is the CAD engineer’s job to:
Ensure that each device shipped meets Gallium Semiconductor high quality standards.
Provide technical support to manufacturing including hands on debug of test hardware and systems.
Liaise with sub-contractors to implement production testing and training of local support personnel.
Contribute to project plans by providing time scale estimates.
Manage own time and assigned resources to meet time-scales and quality objectives.
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and equivalent
Preferable with > 3years experience in CAD designs on both mechanical and electrical.
Knowledge in AutoCAD and understanding schematics or its equivalent.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with people at all levels including escalations and involvement of all group at stake.
Self-directed with strong desire to be part of a winning team by being flexible and may be required working extra hours at some circumstances.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
